There isn't going to be anywhere near enough people to give a fuck about GoT anything next time around to keep it running for more than 3 seasons. Certainly not whatever the new show is going to be about. Prequels are hard to do because you already know what is going to happen, and they blew their last season so badly why would anyone get invested again anyways?
