It's insane to me that the Amazon being intentionally set on fire is not being reacted to like the giant alien at the end of Watchmen. Absolutely. I meant in a more abstract, human race type way, for allowing history to bend towards this suicidal path. But most people, of course, have very little control over any of this and the giant machine of Capital nevertheless hums in the background turning us into grist. There has to be an inflection point.
