Oil extraction method (goes down much easier)
Let me qualify, I've been experimenting with benzedrex for a couple years now and like most of us I don't really have the energy to source chemicals (more power to you home chemists out there!). Eating the cotton is dangerous and the thought of drinking another menthol-lavender brew makes my skin crawl. There is a way however of making a somewhat palettable brew without lab equipment. My method was originally found online but I've perfected it through trial and error. Doing this makes the benzedrex much less nauseating.
Materials :
-Closable container (I strongly recommend a mason jar due to the volumetric labeling on the side) -Benzedrex inhalers (Broken and torn into little pieces) -Lemon/Citrus juice (Citric acid, squeezed lemon or lime, etc) -Cooking oil (Preferably vegetable due to inoffensive taste) -Pipette/plastic bag (I use a turkey baster, you could even use a straw if you're careful)
Extraction :
- Drop torn up benzedrex cottons in closable container.
- Add 50ml of lemon juice for each stick if benzedrex you use. (Any less and the potency will decline, any more and you're gonna have a bad time.)
- Shake vigorously and let rest for an hour at least.
- Carefully scoop out and wring all the liquid out of the cottons. (Don't eat these you damned idiots)
- Add 50ml of oil for each stick of benzedrex used.
- Close the container and shake vigorously. Let this rest for about an hour.
- Suck the top layer of oil off and consume you're only slightly unpleasant lemon juice as desired! (This is comparable to the badness of black coffee or a shot of vodka, nowhere near as bad!)
