The Canonical list of appearance?

Question

So whether this is made aware of or not, there isn’t really much to go off of who Euden meets first other than the uniqueness of each adventurer appearing at any time. So I devised a possible list of who came to the Halidom:

-Vixel [1/3 time he meets Euden. Pre-Halidom]

-Pia [Before Halidom, take place in a town]

-Elias [The first visitor to the Halidom? Mentions the place is dusty...]

-Lucretia (These four appear before the main)

-Elisanne

-Ranzal

-Cleo

-Maribelle

-Luca

-Xania

-Aoi

-Ezelith

-Renelle

-Alain

-Zardin

-Rex

-Hildegarde

-Sophie

-Melody

-Joe

I have not read these stories yet as I was deciding from a narrative perspective rather than going straight in, so the list is a little crooked for now, but I’m certain on the main and Musicians.

Note: This list is going off of first appearance, so each chapter of an adventurer story should not be in consideration of being confined to a certain time frame, not in direct correlation to the former.

Edit: If it gets a little comprehensive I may add hints as to why I think they appeared at this time but not spoil the story/chapters too well.

Edit2: This is just the list for now. If you notice any other adventurers that appear in another’s stroy, please in the comments below point out any inconsistencies and I’ll update the list to better fit a more appropriate recording.

Edit3: While the main story may be more canonical than any adventurer story, I’m starting to question where Euden has been. I’m almost under the impression Euden has been to the Halidom before, retraced his steps, then found Ranzel before going to challenge the Windwyrm. But this has become speculation more than anything.

I don't know how you suppose the Resplendant Refrain gang come before the original cast when all events require you to finish Ch 2/2-1 which is when you meet Luca.

Plus, the prologue of RR sees Vixel walking up to the group (Euden, Eli, Ranzal, Cleo, Luca) and going "Hi, I'm Vixel," which is a very odd thing to say if he'd been there from the beginning.

Because Vixel is always on tour, he can’t constantly stay at the Halidom. For the prologue of RR, I suppose he met them beforehand and this is his 3rd time meeting, hence Euden on familiar terms with him.

With what info I could gather, Vixel met Euden for the first time when it was just Euden and Notte, then later a little bit, maybe chapter 3 or so since Vixel is constantly on tour, he met Euden’s friends, then RR takes place that same year in Winter. Euden is very friendly with the Alberian citizens and who knows what relations go on outside the visible story, so I’m merely speculating order of appearance, but that is why the adventurer stories give good insight into the timing and livelihoods of the adventurers.

I actually had a discussion on another post a while back asking people who have read the adventurer stories if they found out anything. One person in particular stated in Vixel’s story, Euden met Vixel before everyone else. During the Resplendent Refrain event, I did find Euden to be on good terms with Vixel, having just met. It was only after I talked with this person they think Vixel met Euden beforehand.

I could say something similar with Lucretia being tied to Elias’s story, but I don’t want to go too in-depth. I just know Elias, Lucretia and Vixel are all tied together in a forgiveness story of sorts. Pia’s appearance is a little stray, but by the way of Euden’s interactions, I assumed this is before Euden at the halidom because the setting is some town in Alberia, not the snow covered town we met the musicians in in the event.

While it just may be the fact the main weren’t featured in the story, it was the way Euden talked that felt really like when we first met him, not like “come on gang, we got this”. I checked the first chapter of Pia and he was like, soft-spoken and a little bit reclusive compared to now, I think.

There's nothing in Vixel's story that suggests he met Euden before RR. His story takes place after the event, with Ranzal basically going "Oh, that guy we met back in the snowy town?"

The first spoken dialogue in Pia's story is "All right, that does it for our errands. Time to get back to the castle," meaning the Halidom. The second chapter of her story is them practicing back at the castle when Cleo walks in.

Darn, then I guess that breaks that. I went off Pia’s first chapter in story, and when someone tried to describe Vixel’s story they said something more. But I forgot to mention an important thing about these stories, it’s that the chapters aren’t in sequence. Meaning the time in each chapter is different, and can take place in a week or months time from each other. So generally, I wanted this list to reflect the first meeting of each adventurer, not how their story continues, so your right on the next chapter showing the other adventurers like Cleo, but if going off the first chapter only, it’s possible to believe. And when Euden says “our” he could be talking about Notte, as there was no one else with him in Pia’s first chapter but him, Mr.Mouse and Pia.

Pia says her exam is coming up soon in that chapter. The end of her Episode 1 sees Euden saying "We should head home and start practicing." The second chapter begins "Several days after the prince and Pia begin practicing for their performance," followed shortly after by Cleo entering. I don't know how Euden could've left Alberia, met the main crew, lost his sister and set up in the Halidom in that time while still practicing for a little girl's recital.

Canonically Cleo would have lived in the Halidom with Alberius right? Like 400 years ago or whatever?

I meant when Euden first met the adventurers. He met Ranzel before Cleo, right? I didn’t mean the history of the land, in which case Cleo would be first.

What exactly makes you think Maribelle meet Euden and the others first than Hildegarde? I have a couple of problems trying to get the reason of other pairs to but this two are fresh in my mind and to me make no sense assuming that one came first than the other

Maribelle’s was a stretch, and it probably wasn’t best to ‘imagine’ the state of affairs, but in order of appearance I kind of based it off the adventurers position (Treasure Hunter, Assassin, Priest, Paladin, etc.) and status (Touring Musician, Forest Maiden, Chief of a village, etc.) Under the assumption of folktale lore, The Hero’s first destination is to pass through [usually] a forest (Mario, Robin Hood, etc.).

Maribelle, assuming the fact her only friends are the forest animals, I guessed if anyone was going to visit the Halidom first, they’re going to be from a forest or the forest nearby it, curious from the commotion taking place at the Halidom. I assumed Maribelle happened to wonder by there. And I guessed Hildegarde swinged by there after because if word reached towns of a new settlement in Alberia, others would have to visit the Halidom. Hildegarde had duties to attend to compared to a girl in the forest who comes to play there.

And these adventurers were first (September 27th) available. So as I’ve mentioned, I haven’t read the stories but I based the list on the adventurers position in the world.

So sorry if a lot doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t help I don’t have some of these adventurers, but I just wanted to put out there a list of some sort. If you have read the stories, then thank you for further helping out in this. I just guessed that the adventures that first come out, minus some adventurers down the line, wouldn’t have the other adventurers in their stories because there were none other to date them.

honestly like for granblue i feel like they are 2 timelines one for event and another for main story, bc euden outside a few moments has not the time to do party so much XD

We don’t know when certain characters arrive in the halidom but the ones with alts definitely arrived before certain events/ some characters even arrive during certain times

Lin you arrives during the lunar new year and since she appears in Xuan Zhang’s story that tells us that Xuan arrived after lunar new year

We don’t know is why I was counting on the adventurer stories to give some indication, with what you provided show they do in small pockets. However, ultimately it is not known when they arrive at the Halidom but thanks for that.

Indeed that is actually what I was going for.

For the singers I got the idea they were before the Halidom because in the first chapter of each their stories Cleo, Elisanne, Ranzel or anybody else weren’t mentioned and only ambiguous terms, but that’s only for the first chapter. Other than that, that was what I originally branched off to, to include the extended relationships.

Also technically yeah Notte would be first for Euden.

Well, we really don't have enough info for any of this. Any advice is just a drop in the bucket.

Lin You (and therefore Xiao Lei, Su Fang and Ku Hai) are all before Xuan Zang as well as the first Qilan members to join.

Anything relating to Hinomoto is questionable. Adventurers like Aoi and Taro are from Hinomoto, but the first story mention of it came with Ieyasu. Euden would know more about the land if those adventurers were there prior.

The Blacksmith sisters were most likely the first to arrive

There's weird stuff like Curran, Cibella and Ryozen. Curran notes Elly is a heretic, Cibella tries to kill her, and Ryozen is the god damn pope. Each one's arrival would alter the latter's opinions . Ryozen would justify Elly's status if he was first, renouncing her heretical status.

Wow, there’s a lot there that isn’t, surprisingly. These moments really are the droplets of a bigger bucket :/ but even some idea is better than none, so thanks for giving a perspective that the range of relationships is wider than I once thought.

I guess if you're really into this project, basing the main crew's reaction to certain keywords is the best focus. For example, Naveed and Verica are from a yet unnamed land. if that land comes into the story and Euden expresses lack of knowledge, than there's no way Verica or Naveed came prior to that event as they both would have surely mentioned it.

The Halidom is canonically vacant (minus Cleo) until after Chapter 5.

The first people Euden would meet are as follows.

Chelle, Notte, Zethia, Aurelius all around the same time

Then Leif & Valyx

Then the main 4

After that it's up to debate though we know he doesn't meet Yaten and Natalie until after Ieyasu and friends.

I know, but there’s many adventurer and the idea of later adventurers being some of the first in order isn’t too unfamiliar of an idea.
