These last 2 days I've received numerous seemingly spoofed texts only saying variants of Hello? This seem like a phishing scam wanting to reply, or am I just being paranoid?

For some more info, they're all different numbers from totally different area codes, and that's what leads me to believe they're all spoofed numbers

If there's no response then it might just be some script kiddy getting hold of a spoofer and not knowing what to do with it.

This exact same thing has happened to me five times over the past two days as well. Very strange. Makes me slightly worried...

i had it happen to me like 20 times in the last week. seems they are getting desparate

I just got one, too. Mine says "hi number neighbor" and came from a number one digit off from mine. Blocked.

I came to this sub to ask the same question!!!! I responded "Who is this" to one number and there was no response. One of my co-workers also said he got two messages today, too, and couldn't understand it. I have no more info to offer you, just that I'm super confused too.
