How and where to sell illegal contraband?
Acquired a full cargo of illegal stuff, where can I sell it?

most of the lawless systems have an independent station with a black market, but not all of them.
The other option is to align with the pirate faction and then, all the red devils bases have a black market and most importantly, they sell illegal goods. For example in the north at the 2 weapon shops you can buy explosives that you sell south in Taggart, and so on.

So far I know these 5 freely accessible black markets (there are more if you're aligned with the Red Devils - virtually every station of pirate origin has a black market):
Cordell in Hampton, Alfred in Hitchcock, Loreto in Juarez, Dautry in Medicine Hat and Granite in Rockfarming.
Most of the time I ended up in Loreto, however, they don't have the best prices.

Any black market. There's one two jumps from the starting system (bottom left, Rockfarming).
I think you have to be neutral or fully aligned red (to the left on the meter) I'm full blue and can't go anywhere but the far northern black markets.
I don't mean pirate/red stations; if you look at the world overview map some stations are specifically tagged as 'black market'. Rockfarming has it.
Now, I don't know what happens with those stations if you are shiny boy blue. Haven't gotten nearly far enough with alignment to potentially shift myself off there; regular bounties in the first few systems quickly allowed me to max my ship out without building much of any reputation with any faction. So maybe you're just playing a bit different than me and encountered a different mechanic--snitches banned?
