[Swartz] Eagles Isaac Seumalo tonight had one of the worst single game grades by any player at any position in PFF history. He allowed two sacks, six QB hurries, committed three penalties, and graded equally poor as a run blocker and pass blocker.

72 of the Broncos would like a word

I love when Stink went off on 72 after he tackled a guy and got up shaking his head asking “what me?”

115
Zephead223Broncos•

He's been going off on bolles for a while, on the fan he completely ripped into him saying bolles is unfixable and broken and that's para phrasing it nicely

49
onken022Vikings•

Watching him blatantly hold and just shake his head like he didn’t understand was incredibly frustrating.

29
Zephead223Broncos•

I'm guessing you didn't see his presser where he deflected blame and "didn't agree with the officiating" so not only is he fucking terrible he won't even acknowledge his problems.

35
TacoGuzzler69•

I thought Bolles wasn’t so terrible until this season. After the first two weeks and his comments after yesterday’s game, it is pretty clear he doesn’t know wtf is up.

16
Puffy_GhostBroncos•

He didn't give up a sack because he held all game!

I mean...it’s so hard to argue against that logic fam.

1

Except, he did give up 2 sacks on top of the 4 holding penalties....

1

They can only have 53 men on the team, how are there 72 and how are they all so awful?! /s

Nah if he was fucking garbage at least he'd have been making a hole

Doesn't even have to be an entire collection of garbage. If Mario Kart taught me anything, just a single banana peel may have been more effective.

I've never been super impressed with Seumalo. I don't want to overreact to a bad game against a great player but I doubt Vaitai would play worse.

121
Rozzy915Eagles•

Vaitai came in for a play and proceeded to get a pre-snap penalty and then a holding...so maybe not much bettter.

135
ItsYaBoyBeasleyEagles•

He was playing as a TE though. Probably would fare better in position.

19

He’s not a guard either

He is now

Presnap penalty was an illegal formation with him at TE. I don't think that's really on him as much as the receiver on that side covering him. Doesn't negate the holding penalty at all, but it's worth pointing out

15
mrbkkt1Broncos•

Even then. You can't really blame the receiver. In his brain, that guy is always a tackle lol.

tripeeEagles•

I still don’t understand the coaching staff’s infatuation with choosing him over Wisniewski. At no point was Seumalo better and somehow they were convinced he was.

Also where is Pryor? He had a good camp last year give him a shot.

13
Anebr1ated•

Rumors were Jason Peters didn’t like playing next to wiz.

all of these guards are pretty bad it is just different flavors of terrible.

Grady Jarrett is a baddd man

100
RedZoneD25Eagles•

Not taking anything away from Grady at all, but Seumalo is the weakest starting OL on the Eagles and it’s not close.

114
Jobbe03OPFalcons•

This seems to me like you're trying to take away from Grady in my moment of circlejerk and i do not appreciate it

96
DrunkoffpicklejuiceEagles•

Grady is a bad man he’s going to eat any guards lunch usually. Ike just had a bad game and got beat this game. He played really well the week before especially in the run game.

23
dropdatdurkadurk•

He was beyond awful in week 2 2 years ago vs KC was at least partly responsible for 4 sacks that game

After week 2 in 2017 he got benched for good and just never started again that season. I don't expect it to be that drastic this time but he's on a relatively short leash there's no time for this nonsense with a team who's window is clearly now

12
dashwskFalcons•

Weakest starting OL on the eagles has actually been pretty damn good the last few years. What happened?

4
xMichaelLetsGoEagles•

Our guard not named Brandon Brooks has never been good Wis was okay but he got older and JP didn’t like playing with him

So how did Peters grade out then, cause all I saw was him getting burnt every other play. Seumalo was bad no doubt, but Peters looked like he was ready to retire before half.

22
Stranger2306Cowboys•

I saw Peters shaking on ground at end but they never said anything about it??

5

He went out for a play but they never said what the injury was, my guess is a spasm but who knows

So I was at this game in Atlanta, beautiful stadium by the way, and I let me tell you it was even worse to watch in person. Smh, he really let us down last night... in a game where the team really could have stepped up and got a win for our fallen starters... :(

10

Fire up Wisniewski can't get any worse right?

Err.. boys who wants to tell this bloke the eagles released him during the offseason..

Hes still a free agent. We could, in theory, sign him then start him over Seumalo lol

Darby should’ve been burnt for 4 tds, luckily he only gave up 2

26
Tgs91Eagles•

In fairness to Darby, if the 4 times he got burnt, I think 2 of them were without any safety help. Sandejo is trash. Also, Schwarz pretty much have up on our offense and tried to win on defense with all out blitzes. It worked well, but also risked 1v1s with no safety help.

3
[deleted]•

Darby gets beat on all routes though, not just fly routes.

3
Stranger2306Cowboys•

So were u a fan of Schwartz's plan? It's weird....it almost won u the game.

0
Tgs91Eagles•

I was a fan of it. Just acknowledging that risk was part of the plan, and that risk left Darby exposed, so we shouldn't judge Darby purely on the stats.

Vaitai can't play play tackle let alone guard. Why they let Wiz go is still beyond me.
