Arguably the better solution is to post content you find interesting about other cryptos in this sub, and encourage others to do the same. No reason to try to control the content of the subreddit beyond REALLLLLY obvious spam and illegal stuff that would get the sub in trouble. That literally never ends well.
Otherwise, the votes should do the work.
Not that votes can't be manipulated, but it's what we got.
