My reply to this message:

This is dismissive of established science.

What established science is this dismissive of?

Surgery is hard and stressful is dismissive of science?

Or that women choose those three specialties? Because they overwhelmingly do...

  • Family medicine (about 58 percent)
  • Psychiatry (about 57 percent)
  • Pediatrics (about 75 percent)
  • Obstetrics/gynecology (about 85 percent)

The fact that's supposed to be a science thread and they won't allow debate on science is fucking laughable.

So they believe in the social communism that is "everyone is equal". Good to know science on reddit is just propaganda.

Should ask them for a source as well, as i'd like them to go find what the numbers of what specialties that women actually take are.

Also even in the absence of evidence...i don't see how it goes against science? Its an established SCIENTIFIC fact men are better with things and women are better with people and animals, and thats what we trend towards, because men and women tend to use different parts of the brain for stuff.

I did. They provided a list of studies that simply said:

Maybe

It's possible

It seems

Because they had no definitive data to support those conclusions.

Which part is sexist?

What's sexist? Those are the specialties women choose. Period.

So, you have no answer. What part of that chain was sexist?
