Why Yang Wins 2020

The polls don't show it, but it's in discussion, especially around here. The politically disenfranchised. The state of things in the United States has absolutely lead to the adoption of political ideologies that oppose the US government. I've been an anarchist for years now, and was not going to vote in this election until I heard about Andrew Yang.

What makes Andrew Yang appeal to many anarchists enough to potentially go against their ideology lies in the foundation of what makes us anarchists. We see the capitalist maximum-efficiency system mercilessly tearing apart our lives. My parents are both people who went to college for creative jobs (photography and art) and neither of them landed in these sorts of careers. They weren't profitable enough fast enough and they were subjected to the meat grinder of work. This is what lead me to be an anarchist, to want to free people to have agency outside of this awful profit-driven system, to value more than efficiency and work. Yang speaks to this, and honestly provides a path to allowing people to pursue more humanistic pathways to freeing humanity from profit-driven globalism grinding us apart.

And there are many others like me who perhaps haven't gone so deep into what would be considered "extreme" political ideologies because they've been more focused on how to make things work in this system, many who are just showing up in polls. And there are people who are not only like me in that they aren't being polled, but also are serious YangGang members and are spreading his message far and wide to others. These grassroots effects and numbers are so rarely projected, but I think people will just gawk at the numbers until the actual voting cycle turns out a far different effect.

Not to say that we shouldn't continue to double down on all of our efforts in order to get Yang elected, but rather go forward with the confidence in knowing that Yang's appeal and message runs deeper than a lot of analysts care to talk about right now. For someone like me who finds very few solutions to our problems through the traditional political sphere, Yang is a desperate final attempt to solve things through the system. I don't want to think of the implications of a second Trump term.

I see him speaking to disenfranchised voters better than any other candidates. People that are fed up with the current political system seem drawn to him in an amazing way. It’s working just hang in there

He has been the first candidate I have donated to a couple times due to these reasons.

I dislike government/politics, always the same song and dance pandering half thought out policy promises they know are so outlandish they will never see the light of day. But yang, he is the most honest, forward and fully American candidate to date.

Thank you for sharing.
