Wait To Pimp a Butterfly isn't here list cancelled

In the intro said they were keeping it to one album per artist. They must have just preferred good kid m.A.A.d city, which I don't think is too controversial? I'd personally pick butterfly but m.A.A.d City is an amazing album too.
20
I’m more shocked at how low its placing is. GKMC is a top 10 album of the decade at least.
12
I think so too, it's just quite an odd list. At least they went out on a limb for some albums they obviously really believe in, and didn't just throw out a generic list or one that's designed to generate clicks by being controversial.
Was super shocked not to see any Kanye on this list though! I know Yeezus and Pablo were more divisive but MBDTF was pretty much universally loved.

an alternative leaning music site best albums this decade list with no vulnicura or ten love songs......disappointing
37
Pop 2 is on here too!
Gorilla vs Bear has been supporting pop a lot recently but there’s a ton on this list!
31
Not only that, but the song that was chosen to represent the EP, Track 10, is arguably the best song on it and is probably going to hold up as one the best tracks of her entire career.
7
so nice she released it twice!
7
Oh I assumed it would be Art Angels, which would already be questionable, but it's actually Visions? The best album of the decade? Visions? Really? To each their own I guess but Visions as the single best music release in the last 10 years? For serious?
25
Visions is her magnum opus
18
Visions is easily her best work.
14
Visions changed the way I thought about music so for me it’s a great choice! But I can understand why other would feel differently
6
Visions was pretty good when it came out, but I don’t think it’s aged too well as her sound found its way watered into a lot of things (Pure Heroine credited Visions as an inspiration, for example)
2
Visions has always been a critical darling.
1
Visions is mediocre

i did not expect to see kero kero bonito on this list, but i love them and they deserve it.
18
Especially because it’s Intro Bonito! I understand why they chose that but I would’ve put Bonito Generation instead
3
i would've put time n place tbh
6
it would be very close between Bonito Generation and Time ‘n’ Place for me. they’re both so good. so excited for their next project:)
1
yeah nah. i cant stand behind this list, and art angels is much better than visions
12
It's nice to see Beach House, Charli XCX, and Carly on this list...I like Visions a lot but I'm not sure about number one. Then again I feel like any album at the number one spot would be questioned.
9
Yaeji earned that spot, I love that EP so much
8
There is a lot of popheads favorite but how is there no Janelle Monae project on here. Like not even archandroid
7
finally someone recognized product as the better sophie release

Wow, what a list. So much zachcore on here. Love it.
3
surprised to see so much art angels defense, even grimes herself hates that album
3
Grimes hates everything she touches.
13
Poor Elon.
7
Grimes doesn’t hate that album, she was misquoted. She’s actually said she thinks it awesome and seems proud of it

Songs like Oblivion, Genesis and Realiti should 100% be in the conversation for best tracks of the decade. But album of the decade?? As much as I love visions & art angels... no...
