It's about a month and half I have tapered down from two to almost a half one a day depending on my days lol

And yes there is a difference between those two a big one I got the dr reddy then these and these have the right amount of meds in them vs dr reddy I thought it was a placebo but it's not for sure

Yeah the sandoz are the official indiviour generic

I take sandoz too, they work just as good as brand, identical. I am curious, you said dr. Reddy strips felt like placebo. When you were on them did you feel like you were in full blown withdrawal or did you feel like you were on a reduced dose? I have heard a lot of bad and good things about dr reddy

Reduce does like it would melt faster then it need to it was also harder and thinner but I have both brands on me so I tested the way I felt one day vs the way i felt on sandoz the next with the same amount which was a full strip in the morning and it was a noticeable difference

After 2 years, I went from the name brand 8mg to the Dr Reddy 8mg because my insurance would no longer cover it. I got worried when I opened my first one and it looked like a hard piece of plastic (mentally I was already against it).

To my surprise, it felt almost better than the name brand IMO. I think it absorbed better sublingually than prior because the first 1-2 weeks felt like I had increased my dose. Similar to that honeymoon phase of taking a sub after not having anything for a while and getting some euphoria along with it

Will say though, I dropped down to the Dr Reddy 4mg last month and I’m not a huge fan. It’s twice the size of the 8mg and has a much worse taste. Still holds me over just fine, but waiting on a King Size strip to dissolve is not fun haha

Yeah I have this brand too, I like em. I'm currently on 8mg. I want to go down to 6 everyday. I have about 30 extra , since I took 6mg every once in a while.

These are my extra I'm down to maybe 3/4 of a strip a day depending on how hard I work at work lol

What was your starting dose and how quickly did you taper? I’m just starting... went from 16 mg a day to 12mg (for a couple weeks now) and will probably do 10mg starting next week. They are a pain in the ass to cut though aren’t they?

I was on 16 for 2 years then I had money problems for while in between jobs and had to cut back to 8 mg a day for a year I told myself if I can do that I can kick this shit all together and started cutting them in half and if I felt like I needed more that day i took if not then i didnt i have been on them 5 years now and ready to get off the shit the hardest part was changing myself and the my habits and friends i dont have any friends that use now and everyone one i work with I'm honest about certain issues well all that includes drugs

How long did it take for you to be given that many? I’ve only been going to my clinic for 3 weeks and I have to go in every Monday and Friday. They don’t give me any extra doses in case I can’t make it in that day. The whole thing is pretty frustrating, but not like I have a lot of options.

I go to a doctor

Usually when you first start the program the first few weeks they have you come in early. there is also not ONE suboxone Dr that will prescribe extras, it's your responsibility to make it to the appointments, not theirs. The reason we all always have so many extra is because they prescribe 16mg but most only take 4mg-8mg a day, so they end up with extras. The longer you go, and stay clean and do good the less frequent you'd have to visit. They want to make sure you aren't doing dope for the first few weeks then using subs for the last to pass your UA, and sell the rest. So it may seem frustrating, but that's no different than a majority of what all of us have to do.

I went there because I have chronic pain and I knew it would be less trouble than going back to a pain management doc. Only thing I was taking at the time was Kratom. I’ve never used dope, so a lot of this is new to me.
