Episode Description: Gypsy is getting older and DeeDee is forced to new legal maneuvers to keep control of her "little girl," but DeeDee is limited by her health problems; Gypsy goes to greater lengths than ever to connect with men and experience a sexual awakening.

- Gypsy watches out the window as a neighbor’s yard is being mowed by a young man. She is clearly attracted to him.
- DeeDee sees her and tells her it’s time for a bath.
- As she gets out of the bath, blood runs down Gypsy’s leg onto the white bath mat. DeeDee is upset she has to clean it - Gypsy smiles as she apologizes. They’re both aware Gypsy has a monthly period.
- At the doctor, DeeDee’s blood sugar tests high and the doctor chastises her. DeeDee says everything will turn out well, the doctor says type 2 diabetes can be fatal.
- DeeDee says she will need Gypsy’s help with injections every single day.
- It’s Gypsy’s birthday. She is celebrating as an 18 year old, but she is really 22.
- DeeDee goes to get Gypsy’s present off the porch. A child rides by on a bike, making Gypsy sad.
- She opens the box and finds two guinea pigs inside. She names on Boo Boo and one Moo Moo.
- Gypsy sneaks a guinea pig onto the porch. Lacey visits. She tells her about ChristianDatingforFree.com
- Rod calls DeeDee and tells her he wants to say happy birthday to Gypsy. She says she doesn’t know it’s her birthday. She says doctors say it’s best not to stress Gypsy out about how much time she has left.
- DeeDee receives a call from a doctor’s nursing staff about an upcoming ear surgery Gypsy is scheduled to have. Now that she’s 18, without guardianship papers, Gypsy must sign a consent form.
- DeeDee finds Gypsy and Lacey on the porch. She is barely cordial to Lacey, though it is clear she is unhappy she is there.
- Once inside, DeeDee yells at Gypsy for being on the front porch and for asking Lacey about men.
- Gypsy steals more from the nest egg fund while DeeDee sleeps.
- DeeDee sees a lawyer in a mall who asks Gypsy a few questions about herself and her health. She says there is no way a judge would ever find her incapacitated. No guardianship can happen.
- At the mall still, DeeDee’s swollen feet and ankles hurt. Gypsy convinces her to sit in a massage chair and let her shop from the list.
- She quickly buys a laptop and hides it in the car.
- She gets back to DeeDee, apologizing for taking so long and not getting anything, but DeeDee is not feeling well, and doesn’t seem to notice or care.
- At home, DeeDee makes Gypsy give her an insulin shot.
- At night, Gypsy sneaks online with her laptop.
- She makes an account on ChristianDatingforFree.com
- DeeDee confronts Lacey about “talking about sex” with Gypsy. Lacey denies it. During the conversation, DeeDee passes out.
- Gypsy starts taking care of DeeDee more.
- They watch Twilight and DeeDee covers her eyes.
- The first message Gypsy opens on the dating site is a picture of a guy’s junk. She’s shocked.
- Nick G send a chat request. She accepts.
- DeeDee calls the lawyer back about drafting up a Power of Attorney paper.
- Gypsy and Nick videochat.
- She reveals she’s in a wheelchair, she’s wearing a wig, and she is sick. Nick still likes her. Nick says he has multiple personalities. One is a vampire named Victor.
- DeeDee takes out the garbage and sees Mel upset outside. She goes over to console her and they talk and share their backgrounds. DeeDee says her mother used to say “sometimes the only way out of the fire is through it.”
- DeeDee gets the power of attorney paperwork in the mail. She feigns a spell as she wakes Gypsy up. DeeDee talks about how awful jail was and how dangerous it was. She says that Gypsy, now an adult, can be found responsible for the things she and her mom had done. She says the papers will keep them both safe. She signs the papers, knowing it’s a bad decision.
- Gypsy reveals to Nick that she knows she’s not really sick enough to need her wheelchair. She says she’s trapped. He wants to show her something to make her feel better about being trapped. He sends her BDSM cartoons.
- DeeDee wakes up to Gypsy not in bed. She finds her with her laptop, asleep on the floor. DeeDee takes the laptop and smashes it with a hammer. Gypsy says she’ll just get another one. DeeDee grabs Gypsy and starts to tie her up, but Gypsy spits in her face. DeeDee wails and sobs. Gypsy heads for the front door with DeeDee wailing, “Gypsy please, I can’t make it without you!” and other apologies. Gypsy closes the front door.
- Things are back to normal. Gypsy gives DeeDee her insulin.
- Gypsy texts Nick that night. Gypsy fantasizes about Nick being there with her, and has an orgasm. Nick tells her he will always protect her. She texts back, “from anyone?”
