alright let's calm down
Frank looked good this offseason. Hope it carries to the regular season and hope the knicks give him a shot to prove it.
I think his style compliments RJ
Frank would be a compliment to any player if he just shot consistently. Hoping he gets there this season.
in my opinion best thing i saw in this video was his movement without the ball. always on the move to either get the ball or to free himself. not standing in the corner anymore.
Just get rid of fizdale and get someone who knows how to make a set that's not a pass off pick and roll

I really think the issue for Frank is belief. He dominated the FIBA u18 tournment too. My suspicion is he believes he belongs at FIBA level and plays with confidence but is intimidated by the NBA. Hopefully the high ratings of his tournament will give him more confidence going into the season.
And our terrible offensive system
Confidence/mentality is a component, but I think he lacked some serious offensive skills that he needed to be a threat.
Meh @ that click bait title, BUT start that effin season already!!!!!!!! Hyped
WE LOVE YOU FRANKIE
Hmmm cant watch the video atm, but is he saying that Frank would be a valuable piece once we hit the playoffs, or that Frank will be a reason we're carried to the playoffs in the regular season?
The first option is a strong agree on my part. The latter point ehhhh maybe not so much. Unless Frank & Mitch were to create a defensive duo that's so stifling that we launch up to the top of the league in defensive efficiency, I don't really see any other way Frank really helps as a pivotal piece to get us to the playoffs. Once we're in though, he could be a factor that wins tight competitive ball-games.
I think the Frank Mitch defensive duo is our only real chance at a play-off run. We are not going to outscore the good teams in a shooting contest, but we could lock teams down and score enough to win.
No he doesn't lol
An interesting comment I found on a Youtube vid of Frank:
Frank Ntilikina has a chance to be the Mariano Rivera of Basketball. A legit closer. Frank should be used at the end of the 2nd qtr and most of the 4th qtr. He is a coaches ace in the pocket. A bigger version of Sam Cassell with some Ron Harper.
not the best analysis, oh look he's improved, now lets show him hit shots and then miss those shots last year.
If that's your takeaway from the clips your basketball eye is non existent. Just on the floaters for example you can clearly see the balance and rhythm changes in technique. He's showing the same shots so you can see the improvement in technique. Can't believe this crap is upvoted
using 1 example of each doesn't show anything. Frank had games where his shot looked good last year, and games where it looked bad.
There's more than just one. And last season frank had 0 touch on his layups and jumper, slower and less conviction on his handles, bad footwork on his off dribble jumpers and no body control/explosiveness off the dribble. That is all shown in the video and if you watched him play you'd know everything looks a lot better
it's literally 1 of each of 3 different kind of shots. it doesn't show anything man... you can have bad footwork on 1 move and then come back down court and have great footwork. The video doesn't show any kind of pattern, just cherry picking a few random shots. He had bad moments in FIBA too.
Oh god lol
Hmm let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Let’s shoot for an above .500 season to start and not burn out
If we're above. 500 then I'd say the playoffs is not premature. Last year the Pistons were the 8th seed at .500 exactly, while the year before the 8th seeded Wizards were 2 games above .500.
But above. 500 is also premature. To be honest approaching 30 wins would, to be, mean this team really overachieved
Damn that’s rough haha
37 - 45 is my wet dream rn.
I don't even fantasize about playoffs anymore just player development.
This squad is a late 20s - 30 win team
If we hit 30+, I've got huge hope for the future.
I said wet dream not accurately prophetic one lol (agree with you though)
I'm guessing we can land around 34-38 wins. The signings make us good enough to be over 30 imo.
Lol nope
Literally my same hope. But i'd settle for 30 wins.
Above .500? There is a better chance that Frank is the best PG on the team by the end of the season.
? I don’t understand how those things can’t happen at the same time
Because in front of him is a PG who can handle and finish at the rim, and another one who is a triple double threat nightly
Well it wasn’t my idea. I just said I want to be above .500
You said, Let’s shoot for an above .500 season to start. Setting your goal for that to start doesn't make sense because by saying that you imply that you have other goals that are harder to fulfill.
It makes more sense to say, our goal is that Frank (or any of our young players ) improves to start. Then our other goals include finishing 500, making the playoffs...
I’ll take your opinion into account before I voice my own next time.
Yeah this is premature, to say the least
