That's cool! I usually assume most daemon princes were once human, but as long as you do your patron right, anyone can ascend (descend?). I'm a sucker for a good avian Tzeentch conversion.
What are your goals for the other dudes? Any plans to proxy them as anything? Depending on their size, enlightened might be cool. Kind of partway to their own daemon ascension.
Thank you very much!!!
To your point about Daemon Princes being humans before, that is kind of the joy of tzaangors; they are mutants. Mutants of what? Well pretty much anything. Mostly humans, but any world Tzeentch has influence on can birth Tzaangors. Did I say birth? I meant create. Yes they can be born to any race, but beyond that, Tzaangors can be the result of mid life mutations as well. So was this guy human? Definitely maybe! I'll have to flesh out his lore later.
As far as my goals for the other dudes, they're going to be my killteam t.gors, and will lead blob #1 in 40k. I have some "Rapid Evolution" Tzaangors serving as enlightened that have some serpentine bodies and additional appendages. I don't mind these guys being taller than your standard 'gor because I just play for fun, not competitively.
Cool! Gonna be a nightmare to transport, but such is the life of the 40k player anyway!
I was in the mood to do some conversions when I made the beginnings of my "Wild Growth" herd. I got excited about them and felt they needed some royalty to lead them and converted a Kurnoth hunter with some scourge wings and T.Sons parts. Got to excited to not share before they hit the painting table.
