It’s so expensive though! You have to spend a minimum of $25 I think and then shipping is $10. At that point you might as well spend the $50 to get free shipping. I really wanted to try some things, but it’s not worth it.

It's not that hard to reach 50$ with gluten free products, but looking at these prices, they are a lot cheaper than up here in Canada

Most of the grocery stores around me carry the majority of Schar products and they’re cheaper than the website. So, I’d have to order either duplicates of the things I want to try or pay almost double (in some cases) for stuff I could buy for cheaper by driving a mile down the road. I wish they would add some European products in the mix and then I’d dish out the extra cash.

That's lucky. I've only got 3 or 4 of the bread products. I've never seen any of the cookies. Maybe one day they will make it into stores.

I got that email, too, but they've had online ordering for as long as I can remember. I don't see the news here, unless it's just a revamping of the old site. Canyon Bakehouse is doing something similar with their website.

It would have been bigger news if Schar began offering $2 coupons again.

No, looks like the same site. There was always a 'shop' option that I recall.

I have honestly never found a schar product that I didn't like

Then you’ve not tried the snack cakes lol. They’re the only thing of theirs I’ve tried and hated. Drier than the Sahara desert. Took me weeks to force myself to eat them. I tried heating them, freezing them, covering them in ice cream, dunking them in coffee etc. Just awful. Part of me wonders if I got a bad bad and it was a fluke, but I’ve seen others say the same and I’m unwilling to spend another $8 or whatever it was to be sure.

Am i the only one that has found every Schaer product I’ve ever tried to be extremely dry and disappointing

When was the last time you tried the line? They reformulated it a few years ago and now the bread is soft, no aftertaste. Just really good. The only issue I have with it is that the slices could be somewhat bigger.

Last year. I’ve only been gluten free for about a year and a half. I like Kroger’s gluten free bread the best bc it doesn’t crumble

Look for Canyon Bakehouse, I like their stuff, especially the heritage style. It's the size of normal bread.
