Moving to my own place in the city. Where to get nice and reasonably-priced furniture?

I have been living here since June in a sublet. Now that I got a full time job I am moving to a small studio and I will need to furnish it. I am looking for retailer stores, no craiglist please.

Any recommendation of a good place where I can get nice furniture without having to sell my ass in the streets?
