(Bicyclist) Dies Doing What He Was Kind Of Into For 6 Months

Whenever somebody dies rock climbing or some other unusual sport the news story always has to enhance how dedicated the person was to their sport/hobby. How avid they always are. The Onion is just subverting expectations to make fun of people who just sort of jump on a hobby for a summer and probably won't keep at it. Like that guy you know who bought a $400 kayak and only put it in the water 3 times in the past 5 years. If that guy drowned his fourth time out he'd be treated like a local legend.

That's ok, it's not supposed to be deep or anything. I'm just new to cycling, and it can be a very dangerous sport if your not careful. I shouldn't joke.
