This showcase is as good as it gets if you don't care which Gala unit you get (or you just want random 5✰ units in general), but if you're chasing one specific unit, your chances are significantly lower than the original showcase they were featured in.

Yep, but unfortunately since I am not able to travel back in time this is still my best chance to pick up Gleo after failing to get her in 300 rolls on her original showcase. C'est la vie.
I'd be right there with you after I burned 50k on Mym's first banner, but instead I took the coward's way out and somehow got her on the platinum showcase.
I threw all the Wyrmite I had left at this banner. I wasn't able to get one of the Gala units I'm missing or either of the shadow melee units I wanted, but I was able to get a ton of other 5* units some good, some bad.
Now I have to decide who gets the free 5T3 from the event since I'm done pulling.
I mean yeah but what am I supposed to do? Travel back to when Gleo was focus? It's better than a Gala where she's not rate up at all...
Also I used all 20k of my wyrmite and no Gleo so time to die
Im right there with you, I threw 15k on the euden banner and got two and 6 rare rolls in a roll with some ok stuff but mostly trash and then another 15k or so today and got 3 rares two of which were in the same pull and they were all base release dupes for adventurers and now I cry
If you want to get any focus unit with
50% certainty (pity rate not accounted for), you need to do at least 347 pulls
75% certainty (pity rate not accounted for), you need to do at least 693 pulls
90% certainty (prnaf), at least 1'151 pulls
99% certainty (prnaf), at least 2'301 pulls
In comparison to a 0.5% featured rate
50% = 139
75% = 277
90% = 460
99% = 919
I was hopeful but so far all 5 stars have no been gala units. It sucks but what can ya do. I'll just hope the freebie summons do me good
I’m only about a little over a month in Dragalia. Every 5 star I get feels amazing. Finally got Fleur today too, the other most wanted unit right after Gleo.
Best chance for Gleo afaik is probably right now as I wasn’t around for her release.

ill never get sarisse, managed to get granzal twice and mym before finally getting geuden on his rate up banner. I wanted to go for Sarrise but with that 0.2% and with Halloween and Heli + megaman around the corner, I'm calling it quits.
It took 40k, as well as over 30k when she came out, but I got her. It feels werid to finally have her.

Yeah, sure, like what the chance they come back in the future as single focus rate up, it's better than nothing though.
The odds are also 3 times better than if you were to pull without any rate-up. We don’t know if we’re ever getting another chance like this.
Oh definitely, this is way better than pulling off-focus on the Gala Euden banner, and there won't be another chance to get Gala units at all until the next Gala banner in November. If you need Gleo to the point that you don't care about other units, you might as well go all in, but your wyrmite goes 40% as far chasing Gleo as it would sniping the focus on any other banner.
You do get 50% more off-focus stuff than you would on a non-Gala banner though, which is nice (though from my own experience blowing 50k wyrmite on Mym's Gala banner, those off-focus units feel terrible when you pull them).
Honestly all the off focus stuff I've pulled has been great in spite of failing to get Cleo so far
I've got all 5 star dragons except Freyja and Takemikazuchi now, most of them have at least 1 unbind, and I have all the Sword adventurers besides Bea and Gala Ranzal now.
The only one that sucked was the Agni since I already have him maxed.
Tell that to the 4 Myms I pulled on g.Euden's banner.. ;__; ...
