I need to say something

I followed a stray thought: why do I only get intimate (not the original word I thought) with really only close friends? I have only every really likes girls I've been friends with? That can't be right. So I googled it. Something along the lines of "why am o ony attrcted to friends" (exact spelling I promise) lo and behold after searching through some articles and definitions and quite frankly some self analysis I wasn't quite ready for driven by my heart's desire to finally get some questions answered, I actually think I'm demisexual. That feels... weird to say. I've never really liked titles. I honestly was quite ready to dismiss the whole thing as a fluke and forget about it. But then.... I thought about it. Everything is too perfect. Everything described me to a "T". The fifth article I read actually had me in tears because I finally found an answer to a quirk about myself I have LONG (and I seriously can't stress this enough) ASKED. Some say enlightenment is like lightbulb, suddenly everything is illuminated, it makes sense. I was a cynic. Still am I little bit. I didn't believe in that "once you see it..." type deals. That happened. It changed me. Seriously. I cannot go back to denial. I cannot lie anymore. I am different. I need some help processing this. All in all nothing changed about me. Im still the exact same person I was 20 minutes ago. Before that errant thought... Demisexual. Yeah. I'll throw it around and see what happens.
