No seal but no issues?

This is my first cycle using a menstrual cup. I'm using lunette type 1. I used the quiz thing to choose this one. It's definitely not creating a seal, or even unfolding properly. But I've had no leaking. Am I playing with fire here? Should I look at getting a different cup?

Edit 2: thank you to everyone for your responses they really helped! I've tried the punch down fold and that's made it open up properly, and sit higher up which is also good!
