is it possible for me to excepted into a 4 year university?
i’m currently a junior in high school and for the past couple of years i have really struggled with things such as depression to the point of just not caring about school or my future in general. this caused me to fail all my classes half of freshman and sophomore year, im now making those classes up but my gpa is awful. if i was able to score well on my act or sat and graduated on time could i possibly get accepted into a decent university?

Short answer: Yes
Now, where you can get in will vary. But there’s state schools all over the place and I’d be happy to help you find some that might work for you. Do your best to pull up your GPA now and study study study for your SAT. Also, if you are good at working quick, take the ACT. Your score will be better.
You might try going to a community college for a year or two and then transferring over to a 4 year. If other stuff doesn’t work. Id recommend getting a job or volunteering some if you don’t do clubs at school to help boost your application too.
If you want to talk more about it I’d be down to help you scout out some places.
Side note: most application have a place where you can talk about outstanding circumstances which may have impacted your grades or attendance or other stuff. You’d mention this there. But don’t mention how it was in the past, mention now. How you are as a student now is what matters.
thank you for this reply and yes if you could recommend any schools that would be amazing. i didn’t mention in my post but i would like to be a commercial pilot if that matters, sorry for the late reply
Hmmm. You might have thought about this but one idea is going into the Air Force to learn how to pilot. I’m not someone who’s super pro military or anything like that but I have two friends of mine in the same position and both are considering Air Force. Getting your private pilots license is ridiculously expensive.
