[LC] LV Speedy 30 in Epi Noir SHW -- Poshmark
Hello! I’ve checked the formatting of this request a few times - hopefully the Rep Gods (aka the amazing mods) let this go through ASAP and you guys are able to help me out :) Also, this is my first post on RL so pleaseeeee gimme all the CCW!
OVERLY WORDY BACKSTORY: I always thought I was immune to influencers/marketing but like lolz no I’m not at all. Went on a weekend trip with the boyfriend and a bunch of his friends last weekend (Sept 27 - 29). One of the girls there had the BEST style ever - it was effortless, cute, totally understated, and looked like she just casually packed a bunch of stuff together in her Mullberry duffel (which I had to immediately talk myself out of getting because although trés chic, I’m realistically way too lazy to carry a duffel bag) without giving it any thought. The purse she had though - omg. It was a LV Speedy in Black Epi with GHW. I didn’t even think I like LV and yet I decided I had to have this bag. Literally on the jitney back I was looking up what the bag was because I had no idea it existed. The next day I find an insane deal on Poshmark for one with SHW (I would prefer GHW but this was only $495 compared to $695+ so yes please I'll get over myself). Bought it on the spot without even doing proper research and now it's in my hands because I'm apparently crazy. This is my first designer purchase ever, auth or rep, so I'm partially shocked at myself and mainly just nervous I spend ~$500 on a rep that's not in the best condition.
TLDR; easily influenced in person, went from not knowing a bag exists/not loving the brand to dropping $495 on a purse in the span of 4 days

MY (very not expert) ASSESSMENT:
- The Good
- LV logo depth + placement looks correct
- Silver hardware consistent with date stamp (SP3049)
- LV branded tab looks accurate
- Dimensions are good
- The "Um Maybe?"
- Datestamp location was inside the right pocket, not on the handle tab. I've seen it in both on auths but don't know which one should be correct for this bag
- The datestamp says the bag was made in 2009 but the receipt says it was sold in 2012 -- does that seem fishy to anyone else?
- Anything you might notice?
OVERALL: Basically need an expert to reassure me that I didn't get completely screwed over/ripped off. I think I found a good deal but I'm not well versed enough in LV to know for sure and sadly Poshmark only gives you 3 days to question the authenticity of an item.

Thank you everyone for your feedback!! I'm glad that I didn't totally suck QCing this and my concerns are legitimate and not paranoia only. I just sent a bunch of pictures of the bag to ProAuthenticate (Thank you to those who recommended I do online authentication service! I didn't even think of that before). Hopefully they get back to me saying it's real - the $20 to get the letter is worth my peace of mind :) I'll update this thread when they get back!
————FINAL EDIT 10/06/2019 ——— This bag is indeed authentic and authenticated by ProAuthenticate! It’s apparently a Speedy Epi 35, NOT Speedy Epi 30 as advertised, so that was a fun discovery 🤷🏽♀️ Thank you all so so much for your guidance and advice 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 I’ll be creating a reference post soon in case anyone in the future falls in love with it and wants to buy one too 🖤
