Newcomer here: What is wrong with Chalet?

It’s incredibly attacker favored and only has 1 (barely) viable site to defend. Same-ish story for Skyscraper.

Never played Skyscraper as I'm still exclusively playing in the newcomer lobby.

No, actually Kitchen/Trophy is the best site on Chalet. Basement is the 2nd best but there is so much you have to manage to hold it and if you lose control it is EXTREMELY hard to retake as a defender.
Skyscraper is very cramped and really the only successful way to defend that map is to do run outs on the attackers on the balconies. So you are essentially forced to do a risky strategy to even have a chance at winning defense.

To each their own. You can’t deny though that defending those maps is such a hassle. Too many angles attackers can get on you and not enough rotations and viable sites to defend.

I play with a five stack and we have no problem defending. Skyscraper is really good for defense imo.

what chalet downstairs doesn’t have too much to hold there are definitely sites that are like that but not chalet.

Eh, I would prefer a good Hereford rework first.

Imo Hereford wasn’t terrible. Sure top floor was a bit busted but other then that the rest was fine.

It's so wack if you aren't in basement. Those sites would never get played if there was a choice. I think it definitely needs more attention than skyscraper and chalet

I do hope Hereford does come back one day. They only really need to change top floor and add some more differentiation between each floor. But since it’s gone I would hope they focus on maps that are currently in the ranked playlist. I just hope they remove one of these two in favor of the Theme Park Rework next season.

I feel skyscraper should be taken out for a Hereford rework. Top 2 floors get some good rearranging and more entry points (windows cause there is like 3). And I can't believe they're doing theme park of all things before all 3 of these maps

I’m usually playing in Gold, but that shouldn’t matter as both of those maps were removed from pro league, and if that doesn’t say how bad those maps are then idk what does.

Ubi needs to put together an advisory panel consisting of the top pros and streamers and then get them to provide their opinions. Only that way will the game really be balanced.
NO! Not Top Pro Players just Pro players and maybe even some from the challanger league ... And why streamer ? Is there understanding of the game better because they have a lot of influence ?
Streamers only because the community will scream saying "balancing around less than 1%".
I was talking about streamers who have either played PL or are in close link with PL/pros. Like George, microwave, GodlyNoob, basically dudes who've been here from the start and play a lot with and against pros. Purely for the sake of satisfying the community, since this community hates professional and balancing around it.
