Getting a lot of spam text messages in the last few days.
Same message from different numbers, "I am lisha looking for S.E.X.". All are group messages. Anything I can do to stop this? I tried forwarding to the spam short code at tmobile just to get a service not active reply.
Help? Thank you.

Here's what's happening:
The other members of the "group" are all numbers they are feeling out, trying to see if there is a real person on the other end, or see if its a cell. If you respond they know they have a live person and can save that number for scam calls later, or sell the number on to others to scam. It's a similar scenario when you get calls from a number that looks like someone local, but when you answer it's just silence, followed by a disconnect.
I am not replying. I am just getting upwards of 6 a day for the last few days. It’s getting really annoying.
