Worth a delay for the workers making the vehicles to get paid right. The GM CEO made $20 million last year and $21 million the year before that. Pay the workers fairly.
No disagreement there. Just sucks for people with pre-orders.
First world problems.
Yea but I’d also rather have a vehicle made by employees with a sense of security and pride in the work. People in a good situation like that would most likely make a far superior product in terms of build quality and reliability, a win for the consumer.
This is the Japanese auto maker formula that has been prove to work. Plus the ones w a preorder will still be the first ones on their block w the car.
The way GM cut their employees families healthcare when they struck was a low and dirty move.
I fell in love with the c8 when it was announced but if the company’s leaders keep acting so greedily I’ll probably just get a Tesla in a year when my lease is up.
Benefits are always cut during a strike. Normally, it's a date like 30 days from the start not 1.5 weeks like the bs they pulled.
Workers gave up raises for 10 fucking years to help prevent bankruptcy. Let's not forget that. Now, they're turning $30B+ profits and don't think they need to pay!
