We're a young team on the rise. Our time will come.

As painful as this series has been, something I've been working on in life is just being more optimistic in general. When you put the season into perspective, many people didn't even have the Twins making the playoffs. We not only made the playoffs but we won the 2nd most games in franchise history and broke the record for most home runs in a season all-time with 307.

Then you look at the fact that we were without Buxton, Pineda had the PED suspension, Kepler was cold coming back from injury, etc. and we just didn't have the right momentum going in against the most stacked team in the MLB. The postseason performance was unfortunately an embarrassment but whatever. As I age I feel more and more numb to each surmounting loss. Life will go on and more seasons will come.
