3rd time’s a charm?

So I’m about to get my third deva cut and I’m petrified! The last 2 deca cuts I’ve had, both stylists cut off several inches more than I wanted. I usually ask for half an inch off. They take half an inch, then half an inch, than half an inch, etc... until I lose about 5 inches total. I’m really hoping this next cut will be different. If they do the same thing, I’m giving up on deva cut stylers all together. They cost waaaayyyy to much to not get what I want. I’ve had the top tier stylist the last 2 cuts too. They’re not beginners. If anyone has tips on how to explain half an inch really means that, I’m all ears. Help!!
