Bomb spam

So I watched a lot about this game even before the NA client was announced and the people were always a mix of ranks. But one thing I never saw was the amount of bomb placements I see when I play.

Why is it when I play games theres 2 or 3 people running off along the flank paths to bomb the bases minute 1 or 2 from either side?

I mean it usually does disrupt the other team but it makes it hard to pin people down when they have a waypoint capped near your base and both teams are trying to flank each other and it resembles a Call of Duty match where everyone is spawning everywhere.
