Other new features, improvements and fixes are really good too. Best $30 I've ever spent.

First, I have been having so much fun with this mail maker. Took a picture of our DMs map and have imported it and been cleaning it up for him. Great brownie points.
Second, how do you scroll? I was zoomed in to get the transition zone right and couldn't figure out how to side my view over. Had to zoom out and back in. Hotkeys would be easier.
Third, could we add Shift+Click to scroll? That would be even better than a hotkey scroll.

You can scroll with middle mouse drag or spacebar + drag. Alternatively, you can also use the pan tool top-right (designed for pens) or enable edge-detected scrolling in preferences.

A few things I would like to see for future updates.
A lake hotkey.
Adding hotkeys to specific symbols to expedite city building.
A way to sort symbols into folders to limit scrolling through them all every time.
A potential collab with watabou for city generating.

Would it be possible to have a way to create a perspective? Like be able to tilt the map without tilting the symbols for the mountains or the trees?
Or export the map with only the symbols or only the terrain? (I like to create animations and that could help me to have access to multiple layers in another software)

Is there anything I need to keep in mind with map files when I download the new version? Will the map files I already have open fine with no changes?
Also, do I need to uninstall the older version to get the newer version?

It's always smart to make a backup of the maps folder just in case. I have tested many old maps, but it's always possible to have a rare case. You never know. You can install the new version, and the installer will handle removing the old version.

If I update my Wonderdraft to 1.1 will I be able to open a ongoing project that Im working on the beta version(1.0.5.4)?
Sorry if it is a dumb question.. but whats is 2x upscale export? Ive tried doing it with the beta version but the files that it generate I cant open with any program on my PC.

Thanks for the update! Just wanted to say that the pan button for tablets and touchscreens is a godsend. I know it's probably not from this update but I can't recall it being there in previous ones. Also, the water brush looks sooo good. Can't wait to put it to the test.
