Dentist or Doctor?
I have a pea sized lump in my cheek. It's not painful, but it has me nervous. Who do I have check it out, my doctor or my dentist?

Inside cheek, whereabouts? go to a dentist first. it may be a swelling of Stensen's duct or a mucocele.
In the cheek, right in front of where my jaws meet. I can feel it from the inside and outside of my mouth.
Could be something normal like a mucocele. Either have the dentist or an oral surgeon check it out.

OMFS (Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon)
It's in between a dentist and a doctor. They'll be able to do biopsy etc on it.
