Why does she DO this?

I have a kitten, Jemma who is about five months old. Every night, without fail, she wakes me up with lovins. She licks my face and wraps herself over my face and just purrs. (I don't think that she's trying to kill me, yet.)

Tonight, I stayed up. My arm was laying beside me on the arm of my couch, and she wrapped herself around it in a bear hug, and just purred. Whenever I tried to move, she moved with me.

Why does she do this? How can I break her?
