Mika with 4 points 1 Assist and 6 rebounds in just 3:55 of game time. That was nice to see.
Justin James has a nice play to end the game for the Kings and Kyle Guy looked like he just wanted to get his shot up, just like any rookie in his first game, in his defense.
I think it’s fair to say at this point.
Is Mika the next Bill Walton?
luke walton will coach the next bill walton.
ITS THE CIRCLE OF LIFE!!!!!
Aaaaaaand mika is waived
Dammit!! He was honestly not bad just looking at the numbers. I hope someone else sees that and locks him up for a few years.
Went to the game and had a blast. The new hot dogs this season are so good! $12 for a half pound dog isn't too bad of a price. The atmosphere tonight reminded me of a Rivercats game. Nobody was really paying attention to the game and were just there to socialize. The Sierra Nevada Tap House was fun at half time. Met up with about a dozen or so friends and then watched the rest of the game from my seats.
Now for actual game notes: Yogi had a terrific game! As much as I like Joseph's defense it is nice to know we have a guaranteed spark off the bench with Yogi and at least 10 points if we need it. Marvin had a solid night defensively against Ayton. Dude looked like he added some muscle and his technique improved a lot. I don't want Ariza to have the green light to shoot in the regular season.
$12 for a hot dog is good???
That's like, 12 hot dogs worth of hot dogs where I'm from.
72 at dollar store 😂
At stadiums it’s good.

Fox>Booker😤😤😤
BuT BoOkEr sCoReD 70 PoInTs iN a SiNgLe GaMe
And he still didn't lead the team to a win xp
Booker will never be the leader Fox is
Too much of a fucc boi to ever achieve Fox's level of leadership.
Holmes is gonna have a great impact on our squad. Instant D and active low post cleanup guy. Really liked watching him work.
I think he's going to get more playing time than expected. He's everything we wanted in WCS defensively. I think Dedman ends up being the backup with Bagley/Holmes starting.
Seemed ok. Half court offense will still be a big struggle - hoping Walton can get more actions going for Buddy, an open 3 for him has to be our best possible shot outcome. Just pretend Buddy is Steph and run that offense.
it's not that simple lol
Ya I mean, clearly but it’s still something to work towards. He can be a top 5 shooter and offensive #1 on a good team.
He already is a top 5 shooter in the NBA and you can argue that he’s top 3
His volume needs to go up. Last season, only Curry had a better 3 point % than Buddy (for guys who shot high volume) but Buddy was behind less accurate shooters like Eric Gordon and Kemba Walker in attempts per game. His 8.0 attempts per game last year needs to go over 10 this year.
I agree, a buddy three is like an open foul line jumper for most people.
Today the focus on the first half was to feed Richaun Holmes and see what kind of damage he can do. And he did. But he also picked up a lot of fouls. In a game where they were whistling a ton.
Never thought I'd see the day when NBA refs call travels consistently
Welcome to the NBA preseason where refs actually call illegal things...wait till the reg season when 4 steps is still not a travel
Still not seeing any PGT so I decided to post someplace for fans who wanted to chat about tonight’s game.
Not a pretty one for sure but one thing that was interesting was how well Mika played in his final few minutes he had. Grabbed rebounds did what he had to do while the bench bench mob and two way guys tried to get theirs.
Happy Cake day
Upvoting everyone who mentions cake.
Bro. Fuck these refs though.
did i miss anything? didn't get to watch, did my senpai fox do good?
Slashed well with inconsistent shooting, so already in midseason form.
*I know we’re talking kings here but damn...the Suns are really bad. The Kings didn’t play well at all and they still looked a lot better than Phoenix. There’s just something off about that team. Even in college Ayton’s seemed like a guy who you’ll always think should play better than he actually does. Rubio’s supposed to make them better but i’m not sure if i can see them winning more than 20 games this year
*Loved seeing Bagley hit the glass in the first half. His rebounding is probably more of a need this year than his scoring. No reason he shouldn’t average 10 rebs this year.
*Good shooting game from Yogi but i just don’t trust him getting any important minutes. Doesn’t run the offense very well and he’s just so easy to score on defensively.
*I think Ariza’s gonna be really inefficient offensively this season. I know he has great length and decent defense but you’ve gotta wonder how many minutes he deserves.
I watched the highlights (if anyone could DM me a new steam for the games), but I loved what I saw. I think the offense is going to be easy, almost to easy. If you look at the box score, I don't expect anyone's numbers to really jump out, it just feels like we're going to have 7 guys all score 13 or more points. Our depth is crazy deep.

Biggest takeaway from the game was the defensive intensity and the movement on offense. I really like how they're using fox bagley dedmon and hield. Fox, hield, and bogi struggled from the field, but it shouldn't be shouldn't be something to worry about. I've seen enough from preseason to at least know we'll be in the hunt for the playoffs.

I’m prob higher on Indiana than most...I think they’ll be a top 4 seed in the east and have a good shot of the ecf with Oladipo back

If you think pacers are a mediocre team you obviously don’t watch nba close enough
