Was interesting seeing Johnson and corbyn walking in together. Johnson trying to make small talk and corbyn not having any of it
I literally laughed out loud at the bit about mental health....it's been rapidly going backwards under the Tories, and I see no change to it
Bojo is smirking like an idiot.
He’s rocking back and forth like a mad man now!
Doesn't he do that most of the time?
Doesn’t he have homework to do?
Looking forward to all these new laws the Johnson government will be unable to pass.
Exactly my thoughts, all of this stuff just sounds like the Queen is reading off a Tory campaign leaflet.
The Queen is looking a little frail. suppose she looks amazing for a 93 year old though.
Physically she seems frail, yeah. Her voice still seems clear and sharp though.
Yup. hopefully many years left with the Queen.
i wish she had only had a single child- Princess Anne, since she shows the capability of class and humbleness. i can't be doing with Charlie Boy and his illegible mumbling as King!
Perhaps Ironically, Princess Anne has always said she'd never want to be queen.
I can't wait for her to make space for Charles. I (like everyone else) predict a major reduction in support for the monarchy.
we ain't letting her go till she sends a telegram to herself
Maybe I’m just projecting but she doesn’t seem all that enthused by what she’s saying
Indeed, she does not seem like a happy bunny, but perhaps that's just me projecting.
Also, this is all so much fluff.
The monarch reads the entire speech in a neutral and formal tone, implying neither approval nor disapproval of the proposals of Her Government
That one mp smirking as the queen mentioned strengthening the NHS. Bloody tosser.
My governments priority has always been to secure the United Kingdom’s departure from the European Union We have always been at war with Eurasia
Will she fire Boris in front of the whole world?
Did anyone else notice Her Majesty's eco-friendly mode of transport? No fossil fuels burned and the horses fed on a renewable resource (grass).
What the script should have said:

Did Skinner give any quip this year when Black Rod tipped up?
He was one of the MPs who stayed in the chamber.
Someone said something and people laughed but the mic cut out as it was said. Hopefully it's in Hansard.
He said something but I didn't hear it. It got a laugh whatever it was.
The queen is officially now a lying cunt.
Whenever I see stuff like this it always just makes me think about how weird humans are. Look at all these little nodding meat sacks wrapped up in weird brightly coloured scraps of cloth, all mumbling incoherently out of the little meat holes in their uppermost nobbly appendages to create a general quiet hum. All surrounding themselves with all these colours and fancy minerals to try to convince themselves they're somehow more important than just being little bobbling meat sacks.
I like your brain.
Read this in Ewan McGregor monologue style from Trainspotting. 10/10
That reminds me of this short story: They're Made out of Meat
Funny, it always makes me think of this scene from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
I think of the last minutes of The Ruling Class
It's us trying to convince ourselves that somehow we had the right to subjugate other cultures, and still do.
