Marvel has most of the best talent right now. Can’t believe how many incredible books are coming out right now. This post was influenced by Hickman’s drunk tweet from not too long ago. That dude rocks.

Really? Other than Hickman and Ewing, I’ve been feeling that Marvel’s books have been stale. I liked Aaron at the beginning of his Thor run, but it got stale soon after the Lady Thor plot ended.
Oh yeah, I’m loving so many of their books right now.
Hickman sucks rocks. He makes storm sound like a damned terrorist in every scene she has been in.
12 issues of HoX and PoX with everyone telling me “oh there is a reason everyone is acting so out of character” only for it to just be his characterization.

I think the latest issue of X-Men is starting to point this out. Polaris and Scott’s dad were both kind of saying, “dude, are you ok?”
Yeah I want to be wrong. But I think that’s Hickman writing to pat himself on the back. They are asking are you ok and cyke is responding with “yes everything Is awesome” (this is definitely normal now, and everything is awesome like a Christopher Nolan movie)
Cates say he was staying on Venom even while writing Thor?
He has to be, he has so many arcs planned.
I hope so. For the first time since Michelinie has Venom had a well put together book.
I’ve been listening to Ryan Stegman’s podcast and Cates just casually talks about the arc after Absolute Carnage, then the next one, the one after that, the next big Venom story, etc. This is one of his dream books, so I don’t think he’s going anywhere until he has finished his story.
He’s said that after Silver Surfer Black ends his two books will be Venom and Thor
