I was on the lookout for information about this festival earlier this summer but never did see anything. It appears they changed the date and raised the prices. Then again if any past years are an indicator, I'm sure there will be plenty of beer! Looking forward to the beer, but not the cold. Anyone else have info on why they changed the date?

I remember when they used to have it inside Mid City Mall during the winter. People in their puffy coats packed like sardines all sweaty and drunk. Good times.
One time they decided it would be a good idea to have it in the grocery store. Was prolly my favorite beer fest as we were getting drunk next to normal shoppers who seemed very confused.
Needless to say that only happened once and then they didn't try that again lol. I liked when the winter ones were inside mid City Mall had some fun times there as well.

Is each sample 1 ticket?
Yes... But. In years past. I have had so many people hand me tickets as they leave that I've never used all my tickets. I then pass on my collection when I head out. It is a great atmosphere and I have always had enough tickets to try the beer I want to try. Sometimes the beer runs out before I get there but I always have enough tickets. Also I am in no way affiliated with this event - I just enjoy it every year I go.
