Cant find resources to create or update txt or xml using purely JavaScript and AJAX
I can find endless resources to read from an xml file into my html but i cant find anything to show me how to take what someone writes into html and uses JavaScript to add the data into an xml file.

The client cannot really directly write to the server - that would be a huge security issue.
You have to make a call to the server as you would in any other way - using forms or parameter data or even a file upload, but it is the server who ultimately has to take the request, process it, and then write to the server filesystem.
So if you wanted to write a bunch of XML to the server, you could post the XML, the server would receive the post body, and then take that XML and do a file write to some file on the server.
Does this make sense?
