Call me sentimental but for the (for now) ending of the series....
...I was really hoping it would bring us full circle to where we started. I was hoping the entrance to the Great Vault would be in/near Fyrestone.
It would be a great excuse as much as anything to pay tribute to the awesome introduction to the series, and also I can never hear enough of Jesper Kyd's music, especially This which I consider to BE Borderlands, and having a musical theme based on it would have certainly warmed my cockles.
Though it may have seemed overly convenient - on a massive planet, the entrance could really be anywhere - I reckon it would have been a small concession. Thoughts?

This music makes me want to play BL1 everytime I hear it.
Lack of Fyrestone in this game feels like one of many wasted opportunities. It was in BL2 and even Pre-Sequel so I kinda assumed it will become tradition that in every game we can visit place where everything started.
Wait when was it in TPS? Been a while since I played.
In Clappy DLC so not actual Fyrestone but you know, close enough. And this remix was pretty good too
Riiiiiight oh man that was an absolutely fantastic DLC. Want to play it again now.
I agree! I'm hoping we might see Firestone again in dlc...
(The other really cool map to return to would be old haven including the old atlas base they discover under it in tales)
