I watched this in tears. Homeless man playing radiohead's "creep". repost but worth it.

Not a repost, but rather a repost of a repost of a respost... But that's not important.
It's a fucking awesome video especially considering the following: Opie and Anthony invited him on thinking he was going to be terrible. It was a prank so that they could make fun of this poor guy. Fortunately he blew everyone's mind!
Hate for Opie and Anthony coming from the son of a real man who has a REAL comedy radio show...
I didn't know that (the part about them having him on to make fun of him) he picked the perfect song to humble their asses then.
Who is your daddy and what does he do?
He is on a very popular comedy radio show. He is not a shock jock, and he is still on FM.

Where did you hear that featuring Mustard on O&A was first intentionally a prank? I recall O&A hosting a "Homeless Shopping Spree", then Mustard told them he was a musician, requested a guitar and a microphone... the rest was magic. On Air Version
EDIT: Added "on air version" of Mustard singing
Prank was the wrong word. The first time I saw this video, I was told that it was supposed to be funny. They thought the guy would be terrible and he fucking blew their minds. I guess I meant a sort of "prank" in which you have someone on who will be terrible, with the intention of making fun of them. I have also heard that they were taken aback when he requested a guitar. I'm not saying he was brought on as a musician to be made fun of, but rather as a homeless guy to be made fun of, who turned out to be a great fucking musician.
I fucking hate Opie and Anthony. They're fucking terrible people and not at all funny.
Yeah that's a great story! People de-value homeless people so much... I just watched an MTV show about a girl that was homeless, and she went home to her mom and her mom was like, "You better eat before you come visit me!"
Whereas all (Jewish, admittedly) mothers that I know would be like, "You better come hungry because I have food in the oven!"
It was heartbreaking.
edit: Yeah, dude I know your brother. B&T 4 Life.
People are to fast to judging homeless people, but, everyone has their own story, maybe he just got laid off and has no other option right now.
WoW!!! That was beautiful!! I was truly impressed!! [3-4]
This really goes to show you can't judge a book by it's cover. This man is amazingly talented and so many people would pass him by and just concentrate on avoiding eye contact. I can really feel the pain and emotion in how he sings and strums the guitar. This is simply amazing.
This guy has so much soul its fucking incredible. I get chills because i can feel his pain and i don't even know his whole situation. This is what music is really about. vexing soul, passion and emotion through sound.
Nice clothes for a homeless guy... He looks clean
Nice guitar too! That taylor retails for at least 1,000 dollars.
Im pretty sure they provided him with the guitar.
It might be a little rough living on the streets with a 1000$ guitar strapped to you back all the time.
Hey man if it's all he does and he has no bills he could afford it! I've heard of people being homeless on purpose and making up to 50k a year. If you have real talent people will throw all kinds of money at you.. Maybe not so much these days though.
Wow man. Wow. Everyone has a place in this world. Everyone.
That reminds me of "Playing for Change"

With love and respect from myself as well
So he calls you a pineapple head stoner and you call him a douche... Who's the real douche?
Who ever is blinded by the light, I believe.
Well I still uptoked both of you
Yeah, it was the first time that I've seen it. That's what's great about the internet -- even something that's not news to everyone can be news to SOMEONE! The other day I found out about something that had happened in 2007, but I didn't know that it had happened. It was great.
