Can I play Kennen, on Support? (New here Btw)

Hi, I wanna pick up Kennen, but for Support (Im a Support Main).

I really like very few of the Supports out there ("Meta" ones), so I was thinking on getting him (Kennen) there at the bottom of the map.

Thinking about it, he has "Free" poke (Energy user!), and very very nice AoE Stun, for grouped Teamfights (Pretty much the potential of a Malphite/Orianna/Zyra).

Edit: IIRC, he gets Rilays Crystal, Hextek Belt, hextek gunblade (For healing?), and so on?

Also which runes? Red branch (domination) With Ultimate hunter for Ult-? as main? With probablyy yellow branch (precision) as secondary?
