Recent buyers of GPW: are you experiencing the double click issue?

Community

Hello, I’ve been looking for a mouse to change my 502 and I like the GPW but I felt that I needed to know more about the double click issue. I’ve seen lots of posts online but I couldn’t see any recent ones, perhaps it is because the mouse is a year old. Quite a few people said that they went through more than one mice, although these threads/purchases were dated to last year.

I was curious if this is still persistent or resolved in a small change.

So I'm not a recent buyer(got mine in May ) but I started getting the issues last week.

A few days ago I noticed it correlated with me wearing a Wool Jumper which causes a lot of static (when the sleeves rubbed on the mouse mat probably). I've stopped wearing clothes that could cause static and rolled back my sleeves and the issue stopped immediately. As a test I put the jumper back on and I get double clicks straight away.

Aside from my subjective experience above, its the best mouse I've ever used, shape similar to a FK1 with wireless. So I would recommend it just be careful to keep the box / warranty etc.

TLDR: you'll be fine if you play naked

Thanks for the info. I guess if I buy it I’ll just levitate butt naked in a vacuum so I don’t get any static.

I got a G502 LS early September that is fine so far, and just got a g903 that is fine but it's only been a week.

Hoping recent batches are better .

Got my G Pro Wireless last Thursday, so usage is at most 1 week. Updated the Firmware to 15.2.26 that is only available in Logitech Support website. It is said that the electrical signal debouncing algorithm is changed to compensate the double clicking issue. Many users said that the firmware was indeed fix most of their problem. A solid mouse, indeed, but too small for my hand (I used the ergonomic G403 wireless prior to G Pro wireless)

I bought mine last January. No issues so far. I mostly play R6S and Dota 2 so my use of this mouse is on the heavier side.

I was actually skeptical about buying it as well, because I heard that it's using the same switch as G903, which I had replaced twice in 6 months due to double clicking issues.

There's a firmware update that helps with the multi click issue. While it did help my GPW avoid the double click issue, it looks like it was just a temporary fix because recently my mouse is multi clicking again.

My record is 95x multi clicks while slowly letting go of M1.
