Any post, or cc?

Oh yeah, I forgot to add that. I used Lightroom to make an HDR image from one RAW file. Then used one of Peter McKinnon's presets and tweaked it a bit more from there.

Post is definitely alot easier with some presets to start with haha. Hopefully I didn't go too far lol. The shot really didn't need any change in color but I wanted it to look different from the last time I took that shot from this spot. Long exposures are my favorite! Thanks for the comment! :)

Nice shot man. I love the edit, looks great!

One technical note; you'd probably be okay shooting this at F8.0, if your focus point was a bit farther out. This would get you to ISO100, and probably sharpen the image up a bit (you may hit diffraction at F11).

At 16mm he probably could have gotten away with F4

Thanks for the comment and tips! For some reason my a6500 wouldn't go down past ISO200. I think it has something to do with the picture profile (Custom PP8 I use for video). I'll figure that out and grab the shot again some time soon lol.

Oh you might be right! Haha, yeah polson is great. If you don't mind the cold, it looks pretty neat when the water is frozen too.

With that gear I think you could do better. You'll probably get better results with a higher ISO and a lower exposure time and opening up the aperture to something like f5.6 or f8 or you could actually just use even f4 or lower and if you focus to near infinity, everything should appear in focus. The reason your image is grainy is you're using too low an ISO. Grain is a result of signal to noise ratio. Also did you touch the tripod? Try using the built in self timer so you don't have to touch the shutter, then there will be no shake. The closest photo I have taken is this https://i.redd.it/k8chkwrqnhsz.jpg. Shot with a6000 and Sigma 30mm f2.8.
