It's basically the same effect in Yahoo but they just label it different. Yahoo uses O as out for short term (less than 3 games I guess). But it uses INJ as long term injury (they say 7 days but it's more like 3 games in my experience). Still only a player with INJ status is eligible for IR.
In ESPN they use O as long term injury where player is eligible for IR. DTD is more for short term injury.

ESPN won’t give the out unless a long term absence is announced or the player misses 3 games or so.
