US interior Department grounds all China-made drones. This agency also has zero non-China-made drones, so unless they give massive exemptions they just grounded their entire fleet. US tax dollars at work.

whelp i guess in 5 years there will be a US only drone that this department will use made by some department head's buddy that charges the US tax payer about 10x the cost that DJI would charge while being about 1/2 as useful.
It might even come with the same feature on the 737 Max that makes the drone fly downwards into the ground.
Fortunately, zero on board casualty was reported.
So they're good enough for emergency and life threatening applications, but somehow insufficient for everyday use. Riiiiiighhhhttt.
And that buddy will give talks on Youtube about how great it is to be an entrepreneur and have the vision to change the world.
