The problem is that changing the R stick aim setting you can't aim up or down if you use a controller without gyro.
I use the hori split pad pro while handheld and a Xbox one controller while docked and I had to get used to the standard controller settings! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Ah I was considering the hori but no rumble or gyro was the deal breaker. Thanks for the info I was wondering how it worked in lm3!
I was on the verge for those exact reason... Especially the absence of rumble since I've always played with vibration on since ps1 (late 90s). So far I've not missed it and the comfort of the grip is better that some vibrations.
How did you connect your xbox contoller? The 8bit do adapter?
Yes, there's even the magic-ns who has an USB port to connect wired controllers too.
I’m not used to pushing up to aim up and down for down. Not sure why, but it feels weird.
It's because you think of the joystick as the character's head, and when you push it "up" it should tilt their view down. Or it's like flying a plane. I'm the same way, and most games let you invert the Y axis for that reason. It's annoying that LM3 doesn't but I just use gyro aiming.
I’m using the Pro Controller and am not sure if the gyro aiming on this game is enabled for it.
It is enabled. I’ve been playing it with a pro controller for a couple hours.
How do I use it? I tried moving the controller around but nothing was happening.
