I just watched Boondock Saints 2: All Saint's Day...

As far as the plot, I think the movie delivered what the fans wanted. But I was surprised at the extremely poor ratings the movie got on Rotten Tomatoes...

And then I checked what RT thought of the first one (I'm aware the movie came out before RT) and once again, it gets bad reviews.

Ask almost any college student, they love this movie. I'm aware that it's a style-over-substance movie, but it's one of the rare cases where the style is done so well that we don't care about the substance, which happens to be good enough. Calling Troy Duffy a Quentin Tarantino knock-off is unfair.

What do you guys think of Boondock Saints 1 and 2?
