Vietnam Era Camillus ASEK
My friend's dad recently gave me a Camillus ASEK knife that was issued to him when he flew Helicopters in Vietnam. I polished it up as best I could, but some areas are pitted. The upper clip is probably the sharpest part. the sheath is in pretty abysmal condition, covered in some white stuff I can only guess at the origin of. The leather stacked handle has a crack near the hilt.
Basically, he left the Marines, and threw the knife in a drawer, where it stayed until last year when he gave it to me, saying "Hell, I never use it any more. If you want it, go ahead and take it."
Like I said, I've polished it up as best as I could. Thoughts on what I do with it next?
