Do you ever have good ideas and then in a month or two some company is developing them...?
I have had two or three ideas like this. The first was concerning our energy crisis and obesity in america. I thought what if everyone had to workout in a gym using elliptical machines connected to stator/rotor creating energy with each revolution. This would have to be required, kinda like taxes or jury duty. This would combat both problems. Two or three months later they had an installation at my uni, it's not mandatory but still the basis of my idea.
The second idea I had was for wireless ear buds to use in tandem with an mp3 device. I was still working out how to power them without them being to bulkly or uncomfortable; wireless power transmission did cross my mind but i think it would eat the battery of the mp3 device. Then i am browsing gizmodo this morning and guess what i find, http://gizmodo.com/5664143/siemens-minitek-beams-music-to-hearing-aids-over-bluetooth . bastards beat me to the punch.
anyone else have ideas like this and then get frustrated when someone with more capitol to invest makes money off of it?
