Having FFS in a week, questions

Hi I'm having FFS (forehead, mandible, and rhinoplasty) in approximately 1 week from now. Just looking for tips on surviving the recovery process as well as any other helpful information you may have for me. I am pretty excited yet obviously a little nervous to. Some questions

  1. I can go home after the surgery, is it recommended I stay in the hospital overnight?
  2. What can I do to make the initial first 4-5 days after surgery as comfortable as possible?
  3. I work as a residential carpenter, my job is about as physical as they can get it. Can I really expect to go back to work in 3 weeks?
  4. At what point will my face start to finally settle in?

I'd love to hear your experiences : )
