Sweden is giving an award to a murderer and peddler of fake news for "work in the service of free speech". China rightfully will ban swedish officials that support this nonsense.

I can’t say it’s a good idea to sanction Sweden. Save the sanctions for an actual relevant power like the United States. If China restricts Sweden, USA could use information from that to better learn how to evade Chinese restrictions later.

A better approach will be to make the Swedes look stupid by giving an award to such a person. Use third party sources like Youtube channels, 3rd party news agencies, foreign journalists, etc.. Better yet, get opposition politicians in Sweden to question the ruling government on why they are giving this award to such a person. This is far better than the Chinese government making statements in public.
